North Wheeler County Ambulance Service is licensed with the State of Texas as a BLS/MICU service.  Our staff consists of EMT Basics, EMT Intermediates, and Paramedics. 

Our primary role is to answer 911 calls in our service area, but we also provide transfers to other towns, if the patient requires a higher level of care.

We have three ambulances, each always equipped at the MICU level, with at least 2 of those units always fully staffed.

To become an EMS provider, it requires several months to years of education, depending on the level of certification.  To be an EMS provider, it requires dedication and commitment.  We are very fortunate to have the dedicated people who serve in this rural area.
