Parkview Hospital’s Nursing Department covers the Emergency Room, the Swing Bed Program, as well as our hospital’s in-patient unit. Our ER is staffed with Medical Providers, Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, CNAs, and Nurse Aides, all who are specially trained in Emergency Medicine. Many members of the nursing staff are certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). 

When the care needed cannot be provided locally, Parkview Hospital works with your doctor to find specialty physicians and facilities that can best fit your needs.  Our commitment to the people of Wheeler and the surrounding communities is to provide the healthcare they need to the fullest extent possible.

Parkview Hospital is equipped to handle emergencies, but access to a second set of eyes and ears can be beneficial in critical cases. Beginning 6/28/21, the staff at Parkview will have immediate, virtual access to a team of physicians and nurses who specialize in emergency medicine.
