Assisted Living Center

“Quality care, in a home-like environment”

At Parkview Assisted Living Center, we care, and it shows. From the moment you enter our doors, you will be surrounded by a warm, welcome environment. Because it’s home. We take pride in the care that we provide our residents, just as if they were our own family. We are a small facility with a big heart. We provide your best option, whether you are no longer able to stay in your home, or simply choose not to.

What Assisted Living Is:

Assisted Living offers you or your loved one a special combination of housing, supportive services, healthcare, and personal assistance, designed to serve the individual needs of those needing help with their activities of daily living.

Our caring staff offers supportive services to our residents 24 hours a day, to meet both scheduled and unscheduled needs. We will work with you or your loved one in a way that promotes dignity and independence.

What Assisted Living Is Not:

Assisted Living is not a nursing home. It is not for persons who are bed bound or totally dependent.

Our Admission Process

Our admission process begins with a comprehensive assessment of your individual needs, as our services are targeted to allow each person the highest level of independence possible. Some residents do not need many services, mainly companionship, housekeeping, meals, and medication assistance, while others may require more help with activities of daily living, such as bathing and toileting, in addition to the above services. We tailor your care to fit your needs.

Advantages of Assisted Living

* Some additional charges may apply, depending on the level of assistance required, based on the initial comprehensive assessment.

Peace of Mind

We provide you or your loved one with the benefit of rapid access to medical care, as we have a nurse on-site 40 hours per week, and on call 24/7. Since we are located on a wing of Parkview Hospital, we can offer ALMOST IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY CARE ACCESS 24/7, if needed.

To meet skilled nursing needs, we collaborate with home health agencies, who come to provide education, monitoring, and treatment. Our residents also have easy access to physical therapy.

We contract with Hospice agencies, to allow for aging in place.

Our local physician and nurse practitioner will provide on-site visits, if needed.

A licensed psychologist provides assistance with mental health issues, if needed, via Telemedicine.

We also provide a podiatrist for on-site visits.
